About me
Hi! My name’s Rowan (he/him/his); I’m a multidisciplinary artist/creative with a love for cool buildings, nice websites, photography, and good food. Currently living in Minneapolis, Minnesota, I am a University of Michigan-Taubman College of Architecture student employed as Taubman’s event photographer. I’ve worked as a designer and marketing specialist at an award-winning floral design studio, as a fundraising manager on the Rebecca Cooke Campaign for the US Congress, and as a freelance photographer and filmmaker. I’ve won 8 Scholastic Gold Keys. My short film is screening as an official selection for the LA International Film Festival, 2024. I have been awarded several scholarships and recognitions for academic and artistic achievement, and I am currently a Taubman Scholar. Ask me about my adventures photographing and filming urban and rural landscapes, running a pumpkin farm, renovating a mouse-ridden cabin in the north woods of Wisconsin, or my obsession with mid-century modern furniture and design.
