LONG-SPAN PLANT-STAND

Plant stand engaging the principles of long-span architecture on a micro-scale. The investigation of materiality and structural legibility gave light to architecture’s role in negotiating visible disjunction and hidden unity. The ‘reveal’ became an important design move in the project—with all pieces seeming to float, creating the illusion of separation while subtly interlocking to achieve structural stability.
